Small Beach End Grain Serving Platter/Chopping Board
This end grain board is crafted from tight-grained beech wood, which makes it perfect for use as a chopping board. Beech is a very hard and durable wood with a lovely straight grain, ensuring the board will last a very long time.
The board has been sanded to a very high grit and then finished with multiple coats of food-grade mineral oil, giving the board a protective layer and bringing out the beautiful grain. Small rubber feet have also been added to improve grip and a small rebate has been cut in both sides to allow for easy handling.

Please note that beech is a very water-absorbent wood, meaning the board may change shape when washing or using water-heavy items. This is nothing to worry about; it is simply the water expanding the wood in a certain way.
Also, ensure the board never goes in the dishwasher; it should always be hand-washed gently. The board will also come supplied with a small bottle of mineral oil. If in constant use, the board would benefit from reapplying some oil to prolong its life.
